Royal Arsenal School of Music is a private teaching practice run by Rosalind Wilks and Sally Wragg based online and in one of their accessible four beautiful studios in Woolwich, London SE18.
Royal Arsenal School of Music offers unparalleled standards of affordable private instrumental teaching in a one to one setting, both in our London based studios and online. As well as providing these lessons with their team of excellent teachers, Rosalind and Sally work closely together to provide the very best opportunities for their students and to create a real sense of community. They have worked together on the professional circuit for years and have now found a similar outlook on musical education and understand how rewarding it can be for both adults and children in the local area. Our students work towards the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music graded Theory and Practical Examinations, from pre-Grade 1 through to Grade 8 and beyond.
Our Early Years Club runs on Saturday mornings and we are currently taking bookings for our next six week course running from 6th November - 11th December. We are also running a special taster session on Saturday 16th October - you can book your space below! We are also running our brand new Music 'Book Club', designed for adults with an interest in learning more about classical music and its' origins. Our Performance Platforms are also finally back, so along with our Junior and Adult Choirs rehearsing on Wednesdays, there really is something for everyone at RASM.
During the individual lessons, each student is taught at a pace which suits them, whilst also being challenged to improve their technique and musicianship in a supportive environment. The School fosters a sense of community through a monthly Newsletter, termly Performance Platforms, an annual concert, and a Christmas party to which all students and their families are invited.
